Mike works with individuals, couples and families in a safe working space to support empowerment and healing. As a qualified and seasoned therapist he offers 20 years experience drawn from work within counselling services in the UK, France and Australia.
Initially trained as a social worker he went on to train as a counsellor in person centred Psychotherapy. This led to further training in couple and Family Therapy as well as Narrative therapy. These ideas and practices inform a collaborative and non pathologising approach to working with people, families and communities.
His approach supports people so that they are more likely to draw on their own strengths and values while feeling resourced and able in bringing about changes in their lives.

As a Counsellor, Eva offers a warm, respectful space for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, feel heard, supported and access their inner wisdom.
To ensure you are supported in your counselling journey, I seek to provide an environment that is respectful, compassionate, gentle and non-judgemental in which each person can feel that their experience is heard and valued. I utilise a person-centred, integrated and trauma informed approach to my counselling. The counselling modalities I draw upon are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and creative counselling practices including but not limited to dance-movement therapy, non-dominant hand journal writing and creative reflective writing. I am committed to ongoing learning to understand how to facilitate processes of change and growth.
Eva has completed a Master of Counselling and a Certificate in Dance-Movement Therapy, which contributed to her commitment to becoming a genuine, gentle, compassionate counsellor.
