HASI Program Support Worker
We are excited to be recruited for a new Program.
MHF runs a Try, Test, Learn program based on the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative on behalf of the ACT Government. This role will provide the frontline psychosocial and administrative supports for the program.
HASI Program Support Worker
Essential criteria:
You must be over 18
Certificate IV in Mental Health or higher
Demonstrated experience managing a diary with multiple components
You must be able to work daytime shifts, Monday to Friday
Drivers licence
Desirable criteria:
Experience providing front line support in aged care, disability or mental health sectors
Understanding of alcohol and other drug interactions and behaviours
Experience managing challenging behaviours
Knowledge of suicide assessment process and appropriate intervention strategies
Experience in managing aggressive communication
Literacy with information and communication technology systems
Highly developed written, verbal, interpersonal and service collaboration skills
First Aid, including CPR and Mental Health First Aid
This is a permanent part time position, initially for 25 hours per week. The role will be required to be available five days per week, Monday to Friday.
