Why work for Mental Health Foundation?

Mental Health Foundation (MHF) is a leading provider of community based mental health supports – it’s all we do.

If mental health is just as important to you, and you are keen to work in the mental health sector, then we want to hear from you.

If you have a lived or learnt experience of mental illness, and you have appropriate qualifications and experience, then we urge you to take the next step and get in contact with us.

Want to know more about us?

MHF has been part of the mental health sector in and around the ACT, for nearly 40 years. It’s our people that make our organisation. In 2020 and 2021 we won Mental Health Month Awards for “Innovated person-centred valued supports“. You only achieve this if you have the very best, dedicated team.

It won’t be a surprise for you to hear that since the onset of COVID-19, we are seeing an increase in people seeking our support. So we are always recruiting and looking for the best support coordinators, support workers, recovery coaches, peer mentors, and office support.

We are a family and your family is important to us. We offer flexible working practices and ongoing support and development for staff. We provide our people access to sector-leading salary packaging opportunities, and the ability to be involved in co-designing the future direction of the organisation.
